The Barking Lot's story started with Bella, our sweet Saluki/Lab mix. We adopted Bella from the Stray Dogs Center in Umm Al Quwain in 2020, just a few months into our marriage.
This beautiful addition to our family inspired us to create a haven for dogs and cats where they can feel the comforts of home.
We are a Canadian-Indian couple who cherish our pets dearly. Alongside Bella, we have Enya, our cat rescued from the SPCA in Toronto. Enya has been with us for ten years, joining our family when she was just two months old.
At The Barking Lot, we are passionate about adopting animals from shelters. We welcome furry friends for free from various shelters, providing them with a loving and caring environment.
Our commitment to adopting and caring for these animals is at the heart of our mission. We believe every pet deserves a chance to be part of a family, just like Bella and Enya.
