The holidays are a time to celebrate and laugh with friends and loved ones. And your pet family is no exception. Unfortunately, not all of our favorite holiday traditions are pet-friendly, but if there is one Christmas tradition that your dog would like, it’s those special holiday meals and treats.
When you’re eating your favorite holiday foods, it’s difficult to resist those sad puppy dog looks. They only want a bite, but not everything we eat is safe or healthy for your dog to consume. Instead of sharing your Christmas meal with them, why not make it more special and make one for them? So, here are some Christmas dog treats ideas to try to keep your pup’s tail wagging all season.

Gingerbread Dog Treat
Whether it’s the warm cinnamon or caramel flavor or the adorable shapes of the small gingerbread men – gingerbread always adds a joyful and nostalgic vibe to the holidays.
Ginger is not harmful to dogs. Dogs can consume ginger in tiny amounts on a regular basis since it has anti-viral, non-toxic, and anti-fungal effects. Ginger is very mild on dogs’ tummies and supports intestinal health. And it’s one of the many reasons ginger is such a beneficial herb for senior dogs.
These handmade gingerbread cookies for dogs are a terrific way to celebrate Christmas with your furry friend because they are healthy, easy to make, dog-safe, and absolutely delicious.
