What vaccinations do you require my pet to have?

For all of our guests’ collective safety, we require your pet to be fully vaccinated.

For dogs, the vaccinations required are against Bordetella (kennel cough), Rabies and DHPP. If the Bordetella vaccine has never been given, or if it has expired, a five day waiting period is required after administration. For all other vaccines, a three day waiting period is required after administration.

All cats need to be vaccinated for Tri-cat (Feline Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia) and Rabies. We also recommend Antifungal and Feline Chlamydia vaccination.

Do I need to make a reservation every time my doggy wants to go to The Lot?

Absolutely not! Feel free to walk in at any time during opening hours for daycare. You’ll need to contact us ahead of time to make a reservation for our hotel and grooming services, though, so we can prep ourselves to give your pet the best care.

Can I take a tour of The Lot and visit my doggy while he/she is with you?

Of course! We would love to have you and honestly, encourage it. We understand that must be curious and maybe a little anxious about where your doggy will be and what he/she will be up to. So please come on by The Lot and make yourself comfortable.

Will you keep me up to date on my doggy’s activities while he/she is in daycare and the hotel?

YES, of course! We will share daily photos and videos with you while your doggy is with us.

What does my doggy need for daycare or their hotel stay?

Please bring your doggy’s own food for the length of his/her stay with us. We can provide food, if requested in advance, but we don’t advise it since it’s important for our guests to feel all the comforts of home while with us.

While we do have comfy beds, bowls and toys for all our guests, please feel free to bring your own along to give your doggy additional comfort and a reminder of you and home, while with us.

Will you be able to administer medication for my doggy while in your care?

Yes, our awesome Care Crew absolutely can, provided it is non-injectable. Please inform us what’s required on check-in or through the Registration Form and make sure medication is clearly labelled, dosage instructions are included, along with your vet’s details.

Is The Lot safe and secure?

Yes, we have our Care Crew at The Lot 24/7. We are also completely covered by CCTV and are well equipped for any emergencies.
